Carolina Lizet is a Colombian-American photographer who focuses on representing the Latinx community in modern society. With a BFA in photography from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Carolina uses photography as a tool to dismantle stereotypes placed on the Latinx community by highlighting the beauty and strength of its people. In 2019, she received the Gertrude Kasebier traveling grant, giving her the opportunity to travel to Puerto Rico with the goal of capturing the resilience of Boricuas via the martial arts community in Juncos and Ponce.

Julianne Nash (b. 1991, Massachusetts) is a New York City-based photographer. She received her MFA in Photography Video and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts, where she was awarded the Assistantship Scholarship for two consecutive years, and the Alumni Scholarship (2018); and her BFA in Photography from Massachusetts College of Art and Design with Departmental Honors in 2013. Julianne's most notable exhibitions include REPOPULATIONS at the Broadway Stages Gallery in conjunction with NoOSPHER Arts, and Ad Astra Per Aspera at The Wassaic Project, both New York. She was recently listed as a finalist in the NYSCA/NYFA Fellowship for Photography (2019) and was published in Lyle Rexer’s “The Critical Eye: Fifteen Pictures to Understand Photography” (Intellect books, 2019). Julianne self published a handmade artist book of her work, Agglomeration, which can be viewed at the School of Visual Arts Library in their Artist/Rare Book Collection. Nathan Ouellette is a multimedia journalist, with a primary concentration in video production.

He earned a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Photography Department at MassArt in 2014 and worked as a freelance photographer, barista, and pedicab driver in the subsequent years before heading to Chicago to attain a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, in 2018. 

Through video and photographs, Nathan has covered stories of water and environmental rights, military preparedness for climate change, and events around the United States Capitol including the testimony of Robert Mueller and the impeachment proceedings of President Donald Trump. 

Nathan is a Chicago/Midwest Student Emmy nominee and his work was screened at the 2019 American Documentary Film Festival.

Eduardo L Rivera is an artist who works with photography, photo books, performance, and video. He has exhibited throughout the United States including the Tucson Museum of Art; the Houston Center for Photography; the Photographic Resource Center in Boston; and the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center. Additionally, his work has been featured in various web and print publications such as GOOD magazine, Aint–Bad Magazine, Hyperallergic and has been commissioned by The Financial Times weekend magazine and The New York Times magazine. Eduardo was a recipient of the Massachusetts Cultural Council Fellowship in photography, a winner of the Magenta Flash Forward Emerging Photographer Award, a runner-up for the Aperture Portfolio Prize, and most recently was an artist-in-residence at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Rivera received a BFA in photography from Arizona State University and an MFA in Photography from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. He currently works and teaches in the Art, Film, and Visual Studies department at Harvard.
