Steven Paneccasio ‘13 MFA


Steven Paneccasio (b. 1982, CT, United States) is a large format color photographer who lives in Queens, New York. He is an adjunct photography professor at SUNY, Purchase and also works for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He received an MFA in Photography from MassArt and a BFA in Photography from SUNY, Purchase. His works range from vast landscapes of the American west to still-lifes from the everyday domestic space. With the use of a carefully selected (often minimal) color palette paired with the precise description of the large format view camera, his images often ask the viewer for a close and careful read.
